Adrian had hurried off to his room and had been punching the make shift dummy he had made, the dull thudding echoed in his ears. He knew what was about to come and he didn't want to hear it, he had shut off all his eyes and was back in his world of darkness, he saw nothing and heard every sound clearly. Seeing it would be worse then hearing, if only by a margin. He punched the same places he had punched a thousand times, he punched the way he punched when he was nervous. The screams. It had begun, Adrian faltered when he heard the girl begin to shriek in pain, he wondered what they were doing to her, what was so terrible a strong willed person like her could give out and scream like that. He didn't want to find out, Adrian punched harder and faster, fighting no enemy other then his own vivid imagination and the sounds that blasted from that accursed TV Oh god the screams These were the sort of sounds Adrian could hear all to well, they stabbed into his ear and burrowed into his brain, plaguing it from the inside for days and nights, keeping him awake, and keeping him in fear Adrian punched so hard he lost all form, he was just throwing wide swings and hopping they made a loud enough sound. He hit hard spots over and over and didn't seem to care, he had his eyes shut so furiously it began to hurt, he was trying so hard to not get angry and try to punch a hole in that TV, he was trying so hard to punch loud enough, his teeth were grit and his fists were beginning to bleed. He was done, he couldn't handle it anymore. He clambered into his bed clumsily and slapped his hands to his ears. The screams were driving him insane, they stretched on for eons, he wished so badly to help her, to make it all stop. He began to shake, quite uncontrollably, he couldn't get the sound out. Adrian had found another telltale heart.
