Never mind. Didn't realize the change. And speaking as a chemist, any metal elemental Logia would be highly susceptible to electricity, not the other way around. 

Edit: Also, Hydra Hydra would be a cool name for that fruit :p

Reedit: I will also confirm that from a chemical standpoint, yes, that fruit will grant an immunity to acid.
