Outer Space, System 97 A few Roman ships jumped into the system, and immediately began scanning. After the loss of A-02 orders were sent out to go to systems which had been marked on maps but not explored, and determine which one would be best to colonize. After scanning the sole planet was any atmosphere chatter occurred between the scout ships. "Hang on, these scans match bio-scans taken from our first contact with the entity known as the Collective." reported the first. "They also seem to indicated...holy hell their psionic power appears to have been off the chart. We thought the Collective had strong psionics but these scans if accurate make the Collective look like they just discovered their gift." responded the second. "Orders? Scans indicate potentially valuable technological and old signals that still linger indicate they were called the Aetherii." "We should contact them about this. It is possible the Aetherii had a hand in creating some of the species of the Collective due to the bio-scans, and because of how advanced they probably are their assistance in decrypting the technology could be useful." Collective Space "Starmap data transmitted, the New Roman Empire requests similar data on borders so as to not cause disturbances. Of note is that the New Roman Empire is currently at conflict with a species known as the Abh, they are extremely aggressive, more so then us, and have extreme strength due to their muscle density. If the Collective were to assist with the war, they could potentially take a few concession worlds from the Abh." The ship stopped transmitting for a minute, and started again. "Scouts report that bio-scans taking of your Psionic species indicate similarities to a species that scouts have discovered are known as the Aetherii. Scans also indicate highly valuable technology and archives. R&D is asking if the Collective would like to cooperate with the New Roman Empire and decrypt the archives and tech. Any recovered technology and data would be shared between our two nations."
