[@Vex] Neither is Reiko going to care about what her parents say. Perhaps they could have coincidentally met at some prestigious government-sector function (for whatsoever reason) and befriended one another there. I would suppose if every other rich kid who attended along with their parents were busy being prim and proper goody-two shoes, they'd be bound to get repelled and find some corner to get away. *shrugs*.
