Despite the shocks, she had removed all but one. Now she was panting hard, black marks formed on her arms. And what's worse, her belly grumbling in complete discordance to what it had eaten. At least she wasn't starving anymore. Marilyn focused, her eyes narrowed and a bead of sweat dripping off of her brow. This was gonna hurt. She stuck her hands through the last electric field protecting the last crystal. Immediately she was attacked by the electricity, causing her to cry out and her eyes to widen. Still, through the pain and the smell of burning metal, her arms turning the color of molten steel where the fence touched, she grabbed the crystal and heaved backwards. "aaaAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGHHHHHHHHHH....!!!!!!!!" She fell to the ground, her hands practically melted to the final crystal power core and trembling in agony. Her grey eyes shuddered and twitched, still in recoil from the massive shock that came to her system. No human could have survived what she had just done. Alarms blared overhead, squalling the fact that the engine was being shut off. The pale alien stumbled onto her side, her eyes still wide open. She thought of all the lives she must have surely just saved, but her body was still, quite litterally in shock. As her hands cooled off, the crystal core fell from her hands but they remained stiff, blackened. Without blinking, silver tears formed from her eyes and fell downward. Turning solid in the oxyginated air and hitting the floor with a plink! sound. Her breath was uneven. She was severely injured. But dammit she had done it.
