I actually found Guild Wars 2 to be much better than many MMOs from the single fact that they reward you for exploring places instead of punishing you.

Also, travelling on foot in Guild Wars 2 is 1000x better than ESO, even if I'm not much of a fan of travelling. It's definitely not something we're completely new to (ie. the puzzles and etc.), but it's pretty unique in the MMO field. Fun stuff. This is coming from someone who's not a big fan of MMOs in general.
