Sarah was hiding in her closet with her hands over her ears. Being on the outskirts of town she could only occasionally hear some of the loader sounds but they had been coming ever closer. This kind of thing was the last thing she wanted. Already tired of the stupid angel having taken over her life she was trying to keep her in the dark. It seemed like a never ending fight no matter where she went. Somehow she thought that being where other heros were she could leave it to them. But now they weren't coming and people she'd never seen or heard of were trying their hardest to put an end to the threat. Sure it was selfish but all the girl wanted was some peace. It was a losing battle though and with each passing minute she could feel the magical energy welling up. Looking at the mirror hung on the inside of the door she could see that her brown eyes had already shifter red. Unable to keep her down Guardian Angel took over and the young woman transformed in a brilliant flash of light. "Why does she resist me so?" Wasting no time she teleported outside and with the power in her wings she soared into the fray. Her immediate concern was the people below. Most of the supers appear to have vanished, probably to stop the main craft baring down on Jump City. It actually appeared to be falling out over the water. Anyone directly on the coast was in danger of being swept and drown should the impact generate a large enough surge. Concentration was shattered as Angel was nearly shot out of the air. Some remaining aliens were taking aim at the free spirit. Dropping down like a shell she landed on one of them and snatched another. "Do you not see? You're offense has been broken. Leave this planet for it has a Guardian Angel." With a mighty heave she planted the creature into the ground. Forced to take a back seat Sarah could have gagged herself with the corny line the angel made. Making short work of getting to the water Angel began healing and moving people, directing them away from the shore.
