After they grabbed everything that was needed out of their lockers, Roland and Steven made their way into class to realize that the bell hasn’t rung yet and that they were the first two there, or at least so they thought. (Sighs) “I knew we were too early.” said Steven who was not very excited about being the only ones in the classroom as he continued speaking. “Man everyone is out in the halls, and you never know we might miss something awesome, can we just go back outside?” As Roland tried to ignore Steven’s complaining while looking around the classroom, he spotted someone of familiarity and found out that they weren’t they only ones in the room alone. It was her. “Steven, look.” said Roland quietly as he tried to get Steven to spot the girl before he started complaining again. “It’s her. What do we do?” “What do we do? You mean, what do you do.” Said Steven as he tried to make his point across. “I told you I’m not getting involved in this mess of yours, so if you’ll excuse me.” As Steven tried to make way to his desk, Roland stopped him for a minute before he could get there and asked him a question silently. “Steven wait…..I got an idea. You go ahead and go back outside before the bell rings so that I can talk to her for a minute.” Before Steven made it to his desk, he looked at Roland with a doubtful face, and as Roland looked back at him with his determined look, Steven rolled his eyes as he made his way back to the halls. “If something cool happens you won’t be able to see it, but whatever you say man.” As Steven left the room, Roland saw his opportunity to finally see on what this girl’s deal was. Without saying anything he sat at a desk that was close and next to hers while he observed on what she was doing. She looked as if she was either writing or drawing something in her sketch book that she had, so Roland found it amusing and questionable. Once he got comfortable, he looked at her without missing a beat and began to speak with one simple word. “Hi.”
