Avery replied to him saying that she didn’t need his guidance and help to get around the school, so that didn’t work. Roland learned how stubborn she was at letting others help her or even talk to her for that matter, so he needed to try something else. “Well I-” Before Roland could finish, the school bell had rang, and Avery told him to get to his desk. He looked towards the door to see other students coming in, so he took Avery’s advice and went to his desk. Once he did, he noticed that one of the girls in the classroom called someone dumpster girl and began to make fun of their clothes while everyone else laughed. As he turned to see who they were talking about, his eyes caught onto Avery’s sight yet again. While doing so, he noticed that she was wearing the same clothes from yesterday, plus he had shades to cover her eyes, but Roland questioned why. As soon as the teacher walked in and began the lesson, Steven passed up a note to Roland, and once Roland got it he opened it up to read what was inside.
