As he walks by a pair of girls, he bumps into one of their shoulders and he spins around to apologize. But as he does so, Noboru keeps moving in the direction he was heading, and he ends walks into a carpenter carrying a copious amount of paint. When they collide, the paint spills all over him, the carpenter, the hall, [b]and[/b] the girls![/i]

	“[i]Maddie![/i] Did you see something?” Sato exclaimed, putting her hands on Maddie’s shoulders to grab her attention.

	The thicker girl shook her head, eyes wide. “I have to go find Noboru Yamamoto, quickly!” And dragging Sato behind him, the boy flew off down the halls in his pink heels, light purple fur scarf fluttering behind him as she and Sato made their ways over to the hall she saw in her vision.

	Barely keeping up, Sato shouted from behind Maddie. “What’s wrong?! What’s going to happen to that hottie?” They soon slowed down and when they stopped, Sato fingered the hem of her baby blue dress, as one of the teachers, Mr. Tanaka, had stopped Maddie and her dead in their tracks. 

	“Why were you running in the halls, Maddison Harvester?!” The old man interrogated, spittle flying from his mouth. Maddie took a step back towards Sato with a grimace. She whispered something to Sato, who nodded in response. Just as Mr. Tanaka took a breath between sentences, Sato jolted forwards, pulled down his pants and ran past him.

	Mr. Tanaka took a moment to figure out what had happened and, once he pulled his pants back up, ran after Sato the opposite direction to where Maddie was headed. “You go girl!” She shouted after them, before jogging towards where Noboru was about to get into a sticky situation! It didn’t take long before she found herself with another obstacle, though, as a troupe of AV geeks had crashed in the middle of the hall before where Noboru was. Two large TVs (and accompanying carts) where lying on the floor, broken. The nerds scrambled to gather glasses and broken bits, and for Maddie, there seemed to be no obvious route through the mess. She huffed a breath out before sprinting past the nerds and leaping over the wreck, landing with a stumble. Her mission was still saving Noboru from that paint!

	Just as she picked up pace again, Sato and Mr. Tanaka ran past her at a high speed, Mr. Tanaka’s pants fluttering in the wind from Sato’s hand. Maddie giggled to herself at the scene before rushing down the hall to where she saw the scene take place. Fortunately, her eyes had not deceived her, and she saw Noboru approaching from the emergency exit. A group of men at the other end of the hall were hauling paint, and she then knew that this was the place. She ran over to Noboru, grabbing his shoulder, and tried to explain the situation. “Noboru! This sounds crazy, but don’t go down this hall!”

	“Don’t be weird, Maddie.” Noboru brushed her off, tossing the football in his hand to the other and brushing his varsity jacket off where she had touched him. He kept walking down the hall, and when Maddie saw those two girls approaching them, she knew she had to take some kind of action. So without thinking, she ran after the boy, and just as he bumped into the girl’s side, Maddie leaped onto Noboru. But instead of avoiding the carpenter like she’d hoped they would, they crashed straight into him, and the paint cans he was carrying went flying into the air.

	After all the cans clanged to the floor, Maddie pushed herself up from Noboru, and observed the damage. Paint was splattered over the girls, it coated her back, and it basically covered the carpenter man. But by some miracle, Noboru got out of it with little more than some smears on his face and the bottom of his jeans. Just as she cracked a smile over how she’d save the #1 Hottie of Warakuma, she heard a piercing shout. “[i][b]MADDISON HARVESTER!![/b][/i]” She stood up to see the principal, Mrs. Akiyama, rushing towards her. Maddie knew [i]exactly[/i] what was going to happen as the short and stout woman grabbed her by the ear and pulled her away towards her office. “You’re in for a lot of trouble, miss!”

	But just before she was pulled out of view, Maddie shouted, “CALL ME, NOBORU!”
