History: Gearbox had ran a small auto repair shop in Muskogee, Oklahoma. When the man who had just fallen out if his car started to attack the paramedics, Gearbox grabbed his keys and drove. Eventually he was ambushed by a group of bandits. After searching his car they left him for dead. A group of survivors saved him from the wreckage of his car, and he stayed with them on their way to Nathanson. Saying he had a debt to repay.
