"People must be shown who is in charge! Being part of the military..." Yusef paused, trying to push his blades through to T'charrl. "I'd think you would understand! Only through gaining and using power can we ensure our future and safety!" There was really no helping the general at this point, he was utterly subscribed to his own lunacy. No one, certainly not the child of his greatest enemy was going to talk him down from this. The fact that a Saiyan was taking up arms against him didn't waver that either. Speaking of the Saiyan, he seemed to want a part in the battle as well. Ramming the general away from the Prince he tried to immobilize the Kaesstrian, opting for a strong kick to do just that. It was avoided, albeit barely, and as a parting gift he tossed a poisoned knife Kabocha's way. The blade missed, narrowly, and another brief reprieve was taken in the battle. "I can control the power because I am strong enough," Yusef reaffirmed, raising his swords. "I will admit there are mysteries to your power, but those will be learned in due time. We're on the precipice now of achieving something entirely new! A new generation of Kaesstrian super soldiers! And I will not have that ruined by you!" Again the general went on the offensive, trying to bring down T'charrl first and foremost. Raising his right arm up over his head Yusef brought his sword down hard, yet despite the force behind it he was blocked again. With a snide smile however he firmed his grip on the dagger, thrusting forward to try and pierce the younger Kaesstrian's abdomen. This too was blocked with a hasty push of his arm, though as a result T'charrl stumbled and fell to the side in a bit of scrap. "You cannot beat me, you must know this. I did not achieve my rank due to inheritance or bribery," the general said, pausing briefly as he raised both weapons. "I earned it on merit alone! Through blood and toil! There is not a single Kaesstrian alive who can best me!" In his brief spout of supposed superiority the general got ahead of himself and completely forgot about the Saiyan in the room. Taking advantage of his surprising lapse of awareness Kabocha attacked, using his speed to get right up behind Yusef. Moving fast enough the alien scarcely had time to register where the boy was, turning his head as he was kicked in the side and sent flying once more, this time crashing into the table that held the beakers and vials. The glass shattered to the floor around Yusef, a few spilling and the remaining intact containers rolling every which way. It took him a moment to realize what had happened, and when he did the general looked positively alarmed. "No... No... My research...!" Yusef mumbled, his tone laced with worry. On his hands and knees he left his weapons laying where they had landed, trying to gather up the contents. It was a rather sorry sight, he seemed in a proper mess with what had happened. One by one he picked up the containers, or what ones were left. A few had minute amounts of liquid in them still, but probably not enough to do anything with. He paid little heed to Kabocha as the Saiyan helped T'charrl to his feet, too busy with the items in hand. Months of research, gone just like that. There were samples elsewhere, but this was by far the most complete of them. He'd have to gather everything again, conduct tests to find the perfect volume of each material... It was going to take ages. Kabocha eased T'charrl back onto his feet, quickly checking the Kaesstrian for wounds before breathing a sigh of relief. If anything happened to the kid then that nasty Queen was going to skin them alive, he was fairly certain of it. Save for perhaps a skinned knee he was okay, nothing to cause alarm. Positive the Prince didn't need to be babied partially turned his body, his head swiveling to look at the general. He was still busy crying over his chemistry set. What was in those anyways? "Are you done yet?" Kabocha asked testily, frowning at Yusef. "I'm getting really tired of this. How many times do I have to hit you until you stay down?" "You... You damn alien..." Yusef almost growled as he spoke, still staring at his beakers. "I'm going to kill you... You and that damned Prince! Then I'll raze his entire city! And finish off the rest of your friends to boot!" Losing all of his work had left him rather... Miffed. Setting down the remnants of his items he grabbed up his blades again, reaching into his vest as well and pulling out throwing knives. With four in total he tossed each out at once with a flick of his wrists, sending them flying in a horizontal arc at the two boys. He rose to one knee shortly after, pushing himself off the ground and rushing them with surprising speed, drawing both blades back to make horizontal cuts when he got close enough.
