Mirajane exists solely to grant the wishes of whomever finds her lamp.  Unfortunately, she [i]despises[/i] this fate.  Why should she, capable of so much magic, be bound to any other creature?  So, unhappy with her lot but bound by it indefinitely, she waits within her mystic lamp, waiting for the next human to stumble across her.  But those that seek their wishes granted had best beware: magic [i]always[/i] has a consequence.
