While enjoying what the weather had to offer, Roland heard Avery’s reply and complaint as well. She looked at the day like it had nothing to show and wanted the lunch period to be over, but Roland couldn’t understand why. It’s days like this that make Roland just want to forget everything and just sit back and relax with no care in the world whatsoever. After listening to her negative comment, he responded on his behalf.  [i]“You must be hard headed to talk like that, I mean really, how could you say that?”[/i]

He didn’t want to sound offended, but he wanted to make a point so that she could even understand as he continued.[i] “There is so many amazing things that the world can offer, whether we refuse to see them or not. I can’t speak for everyone but I know most people would be very appreciative of days like this.”[/i] Roland then began to make himself even more comfortable by adjusting his head to lay firmly on the tree with his body laying in the grass. He placed both of his hands behind his head and continued to look at the sky while talking to Avery.
