Aery saw the pretty young woman over the bed, but in a detached sort of way. She was talking, but Aery couldn't hear anything... Since when was the room so fuzzy, anyway? And then she realized that she needed to hold onto something or she'd let go entirely.
In a panic she reached her unbroken arm out to grab Celaena's hand. "C-celaena, h-help me!" She gasped. Felt a tickle in her chest, turned her head away, and started coughing, spraying blood on the other wall. "C-celaena, p-please, please. A-a-aelin. H-help m-me." Not exactly what she meant; she would have preferred to be killed in that moment than to be lying there dying of pain, while people looked on. She'd never wanted to go in such a way, when it would hurt other people. She just hoped that Ame and Silly wouldn't have to see her like this.

And of course even that hope was shattered, as sprinting through the door came Silly, clutching a sobbing Ame to her chest. She froze and almost fell when she saw the dramatic scene unfolding in front of her. As it was she set Ame down in a corner and sprinted over to the bed.
"Aery, aery, aery, oh my god, no no no, Aery, what on earth? Aery, oh my god, oh, my..." She saw Celaena with blood on her hands, Aery's battered form, the new woman she'd never seen before. But Celaena wouldn't have tortured Aery, and they were holding onto each other's hands, and quite frankly, the new woman looked like she wouldn't harm a fly.
Ame came toddling over, keeping her eyes on the floor. She saw the blood on the sheets, felt a thrill of fear and rage, and happened to look up in horror, right at Aery.

The effect was instantaneous. It felt rather like the fire again, only over her and inside her simultaneously and a thousand times as painful. Aery screamed and flailed, and instantly Ame realized what she was doing and dropped her gaze, only to fall to the ground again.
"I can't even look at anyone without hurting them! Silenia, what am I going to do, oh, Silly... I hurt Aery, and she was already so weak, and if I killed her I'll never forgive myself... I hurt Aery, how did I hurt Aery, I never meant to..." And then her words dissolved into sobs.

And Silly, looking between the three of them, Celaena with her mental breakdown/delusion thing, Aery clinging to life by a thread, Ame... Whatever the hell her problem was... decided she couldn't deal with it, and slid down to the floor to cry as well.
