Biography: Aleskei was not a noble by blood, but by his father's actions they were awarded the small holding of land and their miniscule army. As a young boy Aleskei was not treated well by the other noble children, especially Prince Vasili, at royal functions. That led to Aleskei trying to increase his social standing as he grew older. He talked with a certain elegance that began to draw most of the children toward him, again Vasili being quite contempt of the young Aleskei. At the age of 15 his father had already taken him on numerous hunting trips around their county and his father began to feel quite assured of his son's ability. Victor Alkaev, his father, took him on the annual Grand Hunt with the Royal Family and assorted nobles. On this hunt Victor tried to show his son the epitome of manliness by killing the Grizzly bear they had tracked down, but the fates were not shining down upon the Alkaev family on that day. The bear broke Victor's spear and knocked him off his horse, pinning him underneath. Victor tried to pull himself out from under the horse, but to no avail he was stuck so he tried the only thing he could and pulled out his sword, Lenya, but the bear swiped it away before mercilessly slaughtering Victor. All during this moment the other nobles were too afraid to do anything, but so was young Aleskei. It took a moment before everybody snapped out of their cowardice and they all charged the bear. It didn't take too long before the numerous spears found an artery and the attacker, Aleskei, found himself covered in blood with a dead grizzly upon him. Emotions were conflicting for the boy, accomplishment and pure shock left him with a blank blood covered face. One of the hardest things Aleskei, now being the man of the man of the house, was to tell his mother of the death of his father. She, Tatiana Alkaev, didn't last more than a year and slowly wasted away before her body gave up. This left a distraught 16 year old in charge of a county. Aleskei, brimming with the anger of his fathers death, began to think of someone for whom to deposit him blame upon. He came upon the notion that the ten nobles with his father were responsible due to omissive actions and their own cowardice. He began to plot. The plan was enacted with the help of Igor, who has watched over the boy since his birth. Aleskei knew that the Grand Hunt was to begin again and he wanted to sabotage his childhood nemesis, Vasili, first. Igor rigged the spear head to break off, but somehow Vasili was guided by luck and the first thrust by him directly went into the bears heart. Counterproductive to the Count's plan, the bear's death made the Crown Price more liked. A young Aleksei returned to his dastardly schemes; he took this loss to heart and knew he had to gather up resources and connections if he wanted the Crown Prince dead. He had to start with the smallest fish, Count Peter, the old count to the north who owned the county of Minsk. After the first failure Aleksei wasn't going to be foiled again and he had waited a long 4 years before the plan moved forward. The opening for the plan was found at a Royal Party where all of the nobles across the land would be. So Aleskei began to place a small amount of those loyal to him as the staff of the party. The newest plan was to poison Count Peter. The catch was to poison the Count's family to mask the attack. Everything went according to the plan, the Count did die later that night. That night something better almost happened, Prince Visilli received an infected plate; however he pulled through his "food sickness." Then there was a feast thrown by the Royal Family in recognition of the Crown Prince's recovery from a horrid sickness of the intestinal system. Now at twenty-four he had another plan in the works before he was sent off to maintain relations with the surrounding Great Houses. Notes: Aleksei may be a sociopathic tendencies.
