They didn't lock any of the doors to these cars as most of them were replaceable and didn't contain any valuable information in them. 

Plus, Henry had a thing for buying new cars, an addiction one would say. Regardless, Cipher was interested to see the boys driving skills. She didn't much care that he'd caught on to her testing him. The only problem was it changed what he did. People often change the way they do things when they know someone is watching.
