Oof, isn't that pretty harsh on the poor guy. Man, don't know what's going to happen, but its heavily stacked against him, should be fun to write though. First I do want make sure that its fine for Michel to have some kind of training already, I'm talking about high school level self-defense, maybe your standard first aid class and of course enough schooling in firearms to carry a lisense. 

My reasoning is since we established Michel's father has to be a powerful and influential figure in some fashion, that it'd be really irresponsible for the man to send his son off with no preparation. Also I did want to avoid Michel from being totally useless from the start.
