My main thing is I don't want to add an emotion that wouldn't make sense for the object, so I'm relying on her to tell me what August would sense from the spirits or anything related to them cause I don't want to say like "She feels anxiety!" and find out it's a sociopathic spirit with no concept of emotion outside of sadistic pleasure in other people's pain.

Or the flipside. "This thing is mean!" It's a misunderstood weeping lonely spirit desperate for company. It's more to avoid accidentally throwing a wrench in their plans than anything.
