[b]Physical Description:[/b] Alrik stands approximately 6 feet tall, short enough so that he doesn't immediately stand out against a crowd. Shoulder-length black hair frames a hard face, stubble covering his face much of the time. Cold, blue eyes gaze out from under heavy brows. Often, he wears a full-length black coat with silver chasing along the sleeves and enameled pins on the cuffs and collar, all shaped as swords. Underneath the coat Alrik wears a white tunic and brown breeches, completed by black, knee-length boots.

[b]Personality:[/b] Alrik's personality can be considered multifaceted, bipolar, unstable, or any other such descriptor for one reason: the Taint. Having spent years with the One Power, he has slowly descended into the fringes of madness where he now rests. Most often he can maintain control of himself. In this normal state, Alrik is a fairly happy, cordial man. He strives to befriend those around him, viewing such bonds as strengthening both ends of the system, a slightly utilitarian view but kind nonetheless. Difficult to anger, he prefers solving problems through negotiation or other similarly non-violent means though he will not tarry in using violence should the need arise. When Alrik enters his maddened state, he becomes quite different. Rage burns constantly inside of him, pushing the boundaries of his maddened control and easily sparked to a storm in most any situation. He does not differentiate between friend and foe, only barely recognizing close friends just enough to prevent their deaths. When not in a rage, he still appears happy yet is much more manipulative.
