Very true it sucks by it is what it is. I can speed things up a little by circumventing Jason's meeting and just going to the place but it would be a bit rushed. 

Your character can do some retrospective on Kenta being there, and or any feelings he had about the meeting itself if any. If no he can strike up something with Paul.
