[b]Ashe City Creature Log: [u][I]Ravagers[/I][/u][/b].
[I]Ravagers are a species of arachnid like humanoids that feed upon the flesh and bones of humans. They do not appear to age, much like vampires, but unlike their blood sucking counterparts they are incapable of passing off as just any other human. Ravagers appearances vary drastically from each member of the species, such as one could only have a few extra eyes and arms while another would have their legs replaced with a spider's lower half. The species does have a few common traits that stretches across each of its members. For example every Ravager has displayed the ability to scale walls with their bare hands, much like actual spiders, as well as secrete a toxic venom. This venom has been known to cause hallucinations, paralyzation, and in high enough doses total organ failure causing a victims painful death. Ravagers are much quicker, far more agile, and surely stronger than the average person, making them quite the physical threat. Ravagers heal at a much quicker pace than humans, wounds healing in mere moments where it would take others days, but this all depends on how well fed that given Ravager is at the moment. Though they are quite deadly they have a few faults. They are completely unable to eat anything other than flesh and bone with out becoming incredibly sick and violently vomiting it back up, they are able to eat animal flesh but they prefer human. Ravagers are also quite vulnerable to fire, it causing them major injuries that they can't heal from quickly. Ravagers are extremely territorial creatures, defending their hunting grounds to the death, and this goes doubly for their own kind. The only time two Ravagers are together peacefully is for mating purposes, which usually ends with the female eating the male anyways. If any agent is to ever meet one of these creatures in the field it is mandatory of them to use [u]extreme caution.[/u][/I]
