Hiro looked at Jake for a moment and then sighed. "Honestly?" He took a deep breath. "It's dangerous. It could be revolutionary, but only IF it works. And if it doesn't it could send us back so many technological years. We could lose our navi's. Our friends. Our PETs. Lets not forget about the lives that could be lost or ruined. Years of advancement could go down the drain." He rambled a bit about the consequences. "And all in all, I think they're using your dad. I mean if something screws up they can always blame the lead scientist. And if ANYTHING about his past is known that can be used too." He glanced at Jake again. He told Hiro not to spare his feelings and he wasn't but he was still worried Jake would get upset. "Overall, I think it was a stupid choice to accept the job, even though i'm happy he got the opportunity. I also think he should have better weighed the consequences." He was referring to the terrorist attacks of late. "His life could be in danger. And where would that leave you?" He finally stopped a bit winded. "The project makes me worry. And even though I know risks must be made, sometimes you gotta think about height of risk and whether or not it will actually be worth it in the end."
