Existing from the shadows of the Deep Core, the Consortium grew in power and rebuilt the former glory of the Gen'Dai race in secret. For thousands of years, the Consortium gathered resources and connections from the other sectors of the galaxy to lead up to the status they have now. By the end of the Clone Wars the Iskhar Consortium holds a massive amount of influence, power, and resources from the Deep Core to the Core Worlds. Unlike the reputation the non-Consortium Gen'Dais established, they are well disciplined, philosophically enlightened and organized. Due to the Ishkar Consortium's isolationist mandate, direct contact with the rest of the galaxy is prohibited. As a workaround to this mandate, a forward operation called Kuvari Syndicate was formed.

- A peaceful species, the Gen'Dai practiced a philosophy of "perfection of permanence", a belief that all change is an illusion. Because of this the Gen'Dai philosophers preached that taking an active role in anything was pointless and detrimental. Having no official government or organization structure following the destruction of their homeworld, the Gen'Dai embraced the spirit of nomadic living and journeyed the stars largely in isolation. As their lifespans were so long, ranging from 4,000 years to over 7,000, Gen'Dai rarely reproduced and had an exceptionally low birth rate. While the population as a whole was made up of philosophers, the older population suffered from mental deterioration which led to a pronounced increase in violent tendencies. These rogues tended to take jobs as mercenaries and bounty hunters, poorly representing the species as cruel, heartless savages. But unlike the other clans that blindly accepted their corrupted endings, the Ak'rahtal clan had their own interpretation of the philosophy and was more active in the betterment of their species. As the only line of Gen'Dais who are force sensitive, they took it upon themselves to bring order from the chaos caused by their long life. From acting peacekeepers to well educated mentors; the Ak'rathal clan's action was always for the improvement of their race. The cause of the Ak'rathal was noble, but it wasn't for long that their actions drew the attention of the Sith. Seeing a potential threat if ever their species sided with the Jedi Order, the Sith Empire destroyed the Gen'Dai homeworld and hunted them down one by one. In a desperate act of saving their kin from utter extinction, Mercurius gathered his clansmen and began on evacuating Ak'rathal colonies far away from the proximity of the Sith's fury. Colonies after colonies was evacuated, but still even with much dedication, time was against them. The Sith still managed to catch up to them, those who weren't evacuated in time were subjugated by the Sith or was executed. Those who have escaped, those who survived, bore in their minds a hatred for the Sith Empire which would have lasted and be passed on for generations to come. The fleet of Gen'Dai remnants gathered by the Jaxus system in the Core Worlds before fading into the warping space of the Deep Core. From the isolated peace brought by the chaotic nature of the Deep Core space, they began on reconstructing their society, hoping that one that one day they would rise again and be part of the galactic community without fearing persecution. Decades after decades have passed and the remnants grew wondrously in isolation from the rest of the galaxy, and became more centralized than before. From the ashes of their nomadic traditions was the rise of the Ishkar Consortium; united clans of the Gen'Dai race led by the Ak'rathal clan. The Ak'rathal implemented strict discipline and rigorous devotion to the betterment of their race, causing the Consortium generation Gen'Dais to be extremely patriotic to the cause of their reborn nation. A society led by enlightenment and military might was the ideal community the Ak'rathal envisioned for the remnants of their race, and was enacted when they came into power. As the years passed, the Consortium watched over the galaxy, waiting for the time to reveal themselves while establishing long lasting connections across the galaxy. But as what their ancient principle stated the galaxy never really changed, it was an illusion. Conflicts continued on, and the persecution of species other than their own still continued. This state of the galaxy made the Consortium to decide on continuing their isolated existence, until the galaxy learns how to keep a lasting peace. A decade before the Clone Wars have occurred, the Ishkar Consortium already formed the Kuvari Syndicate, a forward operation of the Consortium that acts as an avenue for military training, exotic resource gathering and technological improvement. The syndicate came into existence around the Empress Teta system where they were contracted by the local government to act as a professional military body if needed to, in exchange for unhindered access to the system space or resources. Following the years that led up to the start of the Clone Wars, the Kuvari became an accepted entity on the planet and were given more freedom on enacting their duties for the system. The syndicate continued on maintaining its appearance as a roguish organization; when in reality, its main purpose of being involved in illegal acts is to avoid any legal traces that might lead back to the existence of their nation in the Deep Core. During the onslaught of the Second Battle for Coruscant, a forward fleet of the Consortium searching for the old Gen'Dai homeworld, accidentally hyperjumped upon the construction site of the Death Star. They immediately received hostile fire from the station's defense fleet, but their numerous ships and superior boarding forces overwhelmed the defenders. Upon capturing the station, several weapon and ship blueprints was collected from the data banks, including several assets essential for the further construction of the station. When the Republic fell soon after, the fleet brought the unfinished station to the Jaxus system where its construction was continued. In less than five galactic years the station was finished and was renamed to "Karnassus" -- after the lost name of their former homeworld. The station was then brought to the Deep Core where it is being used for unknown purposes. In the aftermath of the fall of the Republic, a chance to secure a foothold to the outer sectors became apparent to the Consortium. With the help of the data banks in the unfinished Death Star, the first course of action was establishing the Consortium's capital on Byss. Due to the system being well hidden and unreachable without the right coordinates, it was the perfect capital for the isolationist Gen'Dai. In less than ten galactic years, the Consortium have established great industries in Byss that would have taken decades if not for the locations of untapped resources provided by the Death Star databanks. During the conquest to Byss, the Consortium passed upon the Odik system. Odik, a known sector headquarters for the 5th Sector Army, was completely abandoned by the time Consortium forces took over the planet. Hundreds of empty Venator and Acclamator class ships were docked, including thousands of complementary military assets sitting still, collecting dust. Comm records showed that the skeleton crew of the planet was recalled when Coruscant was attacked, leaving the station to be maintained by service droids. After securing Byss, majority of the military assets salvaged from Odik was transferred to the Kuvari Syndicate. Odik then became the fortress world for the Consortium, overseeing that the lane leading to Byss. Empress Teta soon became a heavily militarized system, following the colonization of Byss. Now acting as a homebase for Kuvari forces and undercover Consortium agents, Empress Teta received an influx of citizens wishing to enlist themselves to the Kuvari. As an acting gateway to the Deep Core, the Ruan system was brought under the Kuvari Syndicate's control, with every production companies and facilities along with it. After Ruan, The Foerost system became the next part of the Syndicate's plan. By the end of the Republic's reign, Foerost became an ideal target for raiders and those wishing to take advantage of their shipyards. Seeing that an allegiance with the Kuvari is the only way for securing protection, they turned the rights of the Foerost shipyards and several other world based companies to the Kuvari. With the shipyards on their hands, the Kuvari began production of their own line of ships and spacecrafts; mostly from the finished prototype designs salvaged from the Death Star. In time Foerost prospered under the unofficial rule of the Kuvari over their planet, while the autonomous government of the planet turned lax. -

- Name: Mercurius Ak'rathal Species: Gen'Dai Age: Unknown Gender: Male Bio: WIP
WIP - To be updated in approx. 8hrs
