Gideon went back to the security room. There was a wall of black-and-white monitors, a desk, and a mini fridge. Upon inspection he found most of the food in the latter was spoiled or growing mold. He tossed it in the garbage. The young man made himself comfortable. 

Several hours passed, and one of the screens went snowy. "What the...?" he murmured. He got up to investigate. The particular area was covering the entrance to Sky's cage.
