Across from the main building, the front gates which kept people out and those inside safe began to have visitors, the none friendly kind. All over the world many anti-mutant groups had been campaigning against those who were born with the mutant gene. To them it was not holy, they were the children of the devil and they needed to be removed. To date only several of the largest anti-mutant groups had done anything drastic, one of these groups being the Friends of Humanity. Graydon Creed led them; in this moment in time he was running for congress and if things worked out become president of the United States of America. A large group would form by no later than 10am where a mixture of various anti-mutant groups would stand and yell mutant hate and chase whoever came out. The following week had been at its all-time worse; two of the mutants who attended this school were attacked, now in critical condition. Back in Professor X's room Charles had collected himself, he put his dressing grown on and got himself into his chair. Dry sweat marks could be seen though one had to be close enough. 'These nightmares, why do they keep recurring. Can I not get any rest?' Xavier thought to himself. After that thought Charles left his semi dark room and made his way to the main floor, maybe some of his students were up or maybe one of his X-Men were up. Wolverine came to mind, he was one for doing than sleeping. From the bedroom area he found himself on the ground floor, moving along and checking to see who was up. The library was empty, silent and in good condition. The room across the hall way was also empty, that room being one of the class rooms they taught students in. The hallway was semi lit, the oak doors all either closed or slightly a jarred. Only the sounds of Professor X could be heard, soft breathing and some sounds of his movement as he traveled down the hallway. The next door on the left of Professor X was another class room, one that Jean used regularly. ‘I wonder Jean, do you have these nightmares or is it only me’ he thought to himself. As he continued to move down the hallway towards the kitchen something had caught his attention. The room to the right was the room many mutants went to hang out unless they went outside. This room had leisure activities in it. A big screen TV, a pool table, a chess set, a table for general chatting and a few other things. What got Xavier’s attention was the glow and sound of the TV, it sounded like someone forgot to turn it off. Charles went into look seeing two mutants asleep on the sofa which was adjutant from the TV itself. It seemed two students fall asleep at some point though the early news on the TV had got his attention, the very thing that had brought him into the room. TV Interviewer (Female): “We have confirmation today that the programme Bolivar Trask had submitted will go ahead as planned. The violence we have seen from both sides are great, Mr Trask had delivered a speech about one week ago on his project and why it should be made. We had an interview with Mr Trask who stated this is good for the nation, we as people are helpless against the mutant kind. The only way to prevent humans from being hurt is to control and contain the mutants via his programme. We will bring you more live updates as we get them, back to you at the studio.” Professor X thought to himself, something to control mutants, this would not end well for either side. ‘Magneto, why do you still do the things you do, why do you resist the idea that we can live side by side with each other. Both humans and mutants can coexist, this I believe.’ he thought to himself. Professor X soon turned the TV off and roamed to his office where he stayed for a while. After sometime he called upon his X-Men. Professor X: “My follow X-Men, would you come to my office. Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, Jean, Iceman, Colossus, Talon, Nightcrawler, Beast, Psylocke, Emma Frost and Bear. We have a matter to attend too.” His message only went to those who he wanted to come to the office.
