In that very moment, something snapped inside of Gale. "A t-shirt," she echoed in her mind, her entire body filling with a surreal rage. That deafening static had returned, indicating that Brandy Station was most certainly ready to take over. "Are you sure you want me to go on?" he whispered, and she felt her impaired eyes burning from the intense, burning light that was finding its way through her pupils. "Do it," she replied, relinquishing all control over her actions and her body to let Brandy take over. While Brandy slowly began to take control, he reached up using her delicate, thin fingers and opened her eyelids manually, revealing that her entire eye had been submerged in a ghostly yellow light. "I'll keep you safe, you just watch," he breathed softly to her despite the fact that she was too disoriented to properly reply. After he had complete control over her mind and body, he slipped the obsidian sword out of its polished sheath, pointing it directly in the Egrets' direction. "Hello, all," he announced in a voice that sounded vaguely like Gale's, but it had a twist of a garbled male voice and a roaring static accent. "On Gale's judgement, I have been commanded to take over from here," he explained to the soldiers, increasing the light coming from her wide yellow eyes to a blinding intensity. "You may leave peacefully, and I will do no harm," Brandy remarked, tilting Gale's head to the side, "but if you stay and put this girl's life in danger, I will stop your actions indefinitely. An eye for an eye." He turned to Ash and pointed the feral's free hand in her direction. "Stay put," he whispered to her, making sure that it was in a language that only her hidden parasite would understand. He adjusted his host's iron grip on the sabre's handle, raising it in the air. "And don't you dare think of using your filthy guns and tear gas on me," he snarled through her closed teeth, swiping the air with such force that it caused a surprisingly strong wind to blow in the men's direction. "An entity such as me is still affected, but I recover much faster than your average opponent. The repercussions will be great if you dare do so." Gale's being, entrapped within her own mind, watched through blind eyes and listened to her weapon's words. "Them's fighting words," she echoed through his control, causing her feminine voice to be projected through her own throat. "Please keep quiet, Gale," he warned mentally, "if you distract me at the wrong time, our lives will be in danger. Keep in mind that while I am in your body, I, too, can be killed." Curling up on the floor and hugging her knees against her chest, she slowly replied with a delicate, "Okay," to reassure him that she understood the urgency of the situation.
