Aery gasped; her knees buckled under the effect of the spell. But she fought it with all her might. She wasn't going to fall asleep here, with this slightly insane witch as her only company. She forced the words out of sluggish lips. "We can surely talk more in the morning, right? For now, good night, Lady Ansel." She stumbled to the door, finally slamming it shut behind her and getting out from the influence of the sleep spell. She should go report to Celaena or... No, let her sleep. That's certainly what Aery wanted to do, only... Out the window she could see the glow of dawn. She'd not have time to do more than doze before it was time to wake up and seize the day. Bloody hell, she'd spent all night racing all over the compound. The pain had lessened... Or had she just gotten used to it? Eh, it didn't matter. Aery decided she'd go saddle the horses. That was something she could get her exhausted mind to do. Then maybe she'd see about helping the cook make breakfast... Or not. She'd go rouse the others and make sure Ame and Silly got their few belongings in order. She could help Rowan pack his weapons... Probably not, actually. Her lips tingled with the memory of their conversation the night before... She shook her head. She'd probably just hallucinated it, as tired as she was. Rowan was her teacher. That was like taboo in every book. Still... Her heart fluttered thinking about talking to him again this morning. She shook it off, went and saddled the horses, then despite her better judgement went upstairs to knock on Rowan's door. By now the sun had mostly cleared the horizon. "Rowan, it's time to wake up! We've got to make a plan for today!"
