As he sailed through the air, Dontores had plenty of time to reflect on his decisions. He had the time to, but he didn't. He had more time as Nuul floated after Dontores and charged a blast of pure darkness to launch at him, but again he didn't. He was given more time when he had almost reached the street and the orb of darkness detonated and sent him flying backwards before he hit the ground. He sailed through a window of some description, glass shattering from the impact. Momentum carried him forward as his head collided with some unfortunate person's body and knocked them to the ground. How bothersome. He thought. Time came back to normal speed as he fell to the ground and the Grimoire floated slowly through the window. "Have you learnt your lesson yet, my der boy?" He said. "No." He replied, not bothering to get up. "I didn't expect so." Nuul said smugly, "But I suppose you will learn in time." The Grimoire floated to Dontores' body and floated into his open left hand, suddenly clutching it as he settled into place. His left arm rose of his own volition and he was slowly pulled upright by the left side of his body. So annoying. Dontores thought. He looked at his surroundings, noticing he was actually in a cafe of some description. Oh, this is nice, He thought, I was getting hungry. He walked over the prone body of the person he had knocked over, noticing she was rather short, among other unusual things. He looked over to the right, and saw a person in uniform also on the ground. Perhaps they had been brawling? It didn't matter so much. He walked over to the counter, a shocked cashier at the register. "I want something cheap and filling." Dontores said, "What would you recommend?"
