Personality: Archus possesses a very focused mindset, maybe too focused. Even focused on stupid things, like his monologues while he winds up his weapon's strongest attack. This can result in him keeping himself open more than necessary, on the other hand he is more capable of defeating single marks or dishing out constant damage. He is also not very good at jokes, he takes things a little too literally, as a result he is also a man of few words, though he is a reliable partner on a hunt because of his business attitude. People just have a problem talking with him outside of a hunt.

Backstory: 
 When Archus was a young boy he listened to twenty too many heroic tales of hunters duking it out with the greatest of beasts, such as the Rathalos, Zinogre and the Nargacuga. He too sought to be one of those hunters, and well that's why he's a hunter now. He has shown to excel physically, and many say he has a penchant for it, making it easy for him to join the ranks of hunters younger than most. Also by penchant for physical activity, they mean he was pretty damn big as a kid, though that appears to be normalized now.

 Despite his looks, he is quite knowledgeable on monsters, or at least as far as fighting them is concerned. Habitats, habits and so on, he can only make an educated guess, on the other hand many speculate he will be useful when a new monster appears, as his ability to analyze was observed to be top notch... Well, most of the time, when he isn't monologuing.
