The groups of girls behind her seemed to have reached an end to their situation, one Akane anticipated and hardly reacted to. 'So I was right, as expected.' Akane's listening skills were quite sharp since she spent most of her life, before this whole fiasco, mostly listening more than talking. The one who introduced himself as Kurisa spoke to her after she responded to his task, finally giving her his name. 'That's clearly common sense. Honestly, I'm not a damn idiot like the majority of you imbeciles.' "A weapon would be useful in this situation." With that said, Kurisa walked off, soon finding a few bottles of water stored in the teacher's desk. Despite recommending that everyone should take a drink, Akane stayed put in her seats. Looking down in her lap, she moved her shoulder bag in order to sit the bottom of it on top of her thighs before opening the flap. Taking out the books which weighed her down, she discarded them as they had no purpose anymore, however she kept her half eaten packed lunch, three quarters full water-bottle and pencil case packed with stationary inside. Closing the flap of her bag and securing it closed, Akane turned her head to look around before returning her eyes back to the computer screen in thought. 'Now which potential weapon would be the most efficient for me to handle?' Mentally tapping her chin, Kurisa's voice was soon brought back to her attention. After hearing his next request, Akane got to work without bothering to give him an answer. After a few minutes of typing away, ahe was close to achieving her goal as a page from an international news website finally began to load... when an error message was displayed on the screen. "The internet has been disconnected." She stated in a nonchalant tone, her expression seemingly uncaring, yet her heart skipped a beat. Placing her hands on top of the desk she sat at, Akane stood before casually walking over to the wall of tools. The majority of the tools had already been taken or where missing in the first place, leaving a limited selection of around three tools let. If Akane had a choice, she'd refuse to fight and would of preferred to just follow, or even leave, the group while dodging the zombies as a whole, but... that wasn't an option. She wasn't physically fit so the likeliness of her dying first-well second, was obviously higher than most other members of the group, carrying a weapon would certainly lower her chances. Deciding upon taking the remaining Pipe wrench with her, she held the grip firmly, turning the weapon so that the mouth part pointed outward as she felt the blunt area would do the most damage if she needed to use it.
