Let's not let this get heated, but rather remain an amiable discussion. I don't mind, as I'm sure most players didn't, that you're portraying France as a superpower, as you did add that they have weaknesses. Also, your reasoning of giving the world a common enemy is quite acceptable, as I was feeling I'd have to start some diplomatic drama my self just to get things to become a little more action packed. It is just starting out, however.

What I think most people had a problem with, or at least Alfehdil and myself, was the fact that you tried to tell everyone else how their nation acted. And mainly saying that you crushed their nations in your history without talking to them first by PMing them and collaborating on a back story between the two Nations.

But, by all means, if you want to throw an all powerful France into the mix, bring it. The Germans will storm Paris and rip the hypocritical French "leaders" from their soft beds and crush their "liberty" beneath their German boot.
