Shadow was fist stopped by a wall of magic and then he felt the pain kick in. He was forced to his knees and when he was about to scream in pain he blacked out. the pain broke through his mental barriers and his mind was set upon by the pain. this only served to sharpen his mental abilities. his normal hidden skills kicked in. the first was his magic barrier. this stopped some of the pain. the next was  a trace skill that would give him the choice to turn the magic back on the user. with the pain gone shadow shook his head and focused on who was trying to injure him. " Ansel" he growled focusing on her he was able to feel the magic deep inside himself react to her power. he did his best to keep calm. he failed at that and his rage built up. he turned and walked in the direction that he sensed her. he still didn't know that he could return her magic all he knew is the pain was blocked for the most part. there was enough that most people would be crying like a baby. but he had been through worse that that so he wouldn't let it stop him. * if you can read mind know this. you made a bad choice attacking me in any way. i'm coming for you. your no better that Kalin was and you watched what i did to him. your magic has done its job. it has me in pain but i will kill you if i have to. i'm not someone to cross.* Shadow thought as he fought with the pain.
