Aery stared at her hand, not comprehending the pain. So... foggy. Her entire body hurt... Probably in the adrenaline of the last few minutes the broken finger had simply felt left out and decided to ache much worse.
And of course maybe not, for suddenly it felt like someone had plunged a knife into her already aching brain. She fell to her knees and let out a strangled scream, her hands covering her ears, wrapping around her head and neck like she wanted to yank it off. She curled into a fetal position sobbing, just wanting the pain in her mind to go away [i]I thought I was done with pain... They can't take my mind, my mind's the only thing I have left to me no no leave my mind alone please please PLEASE...[/i] she thought, and then the world went black for a moment.
Ame saw Aery fall, sprinted to her side, and instantly knew what Ansel was doing.
"Ansel, you monster. Let go of her! You'll kill her, doing that! Let go of her, and let them all go freely, wherever they want to. And I'll come to Briarcliff and serve with you." She teared up even as she said it. "Let my friends free and I'll submit to whatever you want to do to me." She said the words, in addition to sending them out with her magic. Silly tackled her into the mud, sobbing, screaming NO, over and over again, like that could change the sacrifice that Ame would make for the group. But the offer was there and Silly couldn't do anything about it.
