Since I am new to this website and these particular forums, I would like to state that all of the rules that pertain to this site should be followed regardless of what I or anyone else says, here or elsewhere. With that said, here are MY personal rules for my thread. If there are any that I need to make adjustments to or fail to include that you believe are crucial, please notify me immediately, as I'm not trying to make any enemies here.

1. No godmodding, power-playing, the usual. If you don't know what these are, please ask, or look them up.
2. No flaming, spamming, leetspeak, general idiocy, etc.
3. No being intolerant towards anyone's personal beliefs, and no arguing over such matters here anyway, please.
4. I don't care if you use curse words or are explicit, I really don't. But if something you say is flat out offensive to someone here then please respect that, or you'll be kicked from the thread.
5. I also don't care if your characters want to have whatever kind of sexual relations. However, this is not a porno, it's a roleplay. Control yourselves and PM it if it gets too hot and heavy, please. 
6. Respect yourselves, each other, and me. This is the most important rule.
8. If you want to skip forward in time, please ask me, unless it's something simple like the next day.
9. Tell me which rule number I skipped in your bio, for shits and gigs, eh?

[b]Important Other Stuff:[/b]

[i]Patient attire:[/i] loose white pants or shorts and t-shirt or undershirt. Nothing with buttons, zippers, wiring, etc. And no shoes are provided, other than a nice bright and white pair of soft and fluffy shower sandals. 

[i]Meals:[/i] Three a day, usually some kind of oatmeal or porridge for breakfast, soup or sandwiches for lunch, and sometimes something more elaborate for dinner, if you're lucky. 

[i]Medicine:[/i] Given to take via mouth, I.V. line, or injection as doctors see fit. This occurs randomly at any time throughout the day (and sometimes night). You can try and fight it, but you'll lose. 

[i]Lights-out:[/i] After 11 p.m. all patients are expected to remain inside of their rooms until the following morning around 7 a.m. Anyone caught leaving their rooms between these times, except to use the restroom, will be dealt with harshly. 

[i]Roommates:[/i] Each patient tends to share a room with at least one other patient, but certain exceptions can be made, if one of the doctors finds you favorable (or unfavorable, depending). Let me know if you have a specific roleplayer/character in mind who you'd like to room your character with, and I'll see what I can do!

In the relative center of the massive institute building, surrounded by the various halls, is a place known to the patients and staff alike as "The Lounge", which is basically just a giant room where all of the patients can spend their freetime when they are not otherwise confined to their rooms or eating a meal in the cafeteria area. There are also bathrooms inside The Lounge area, one on each side, which are not gender specific and can be used by anyone.
