"Y-Yeah," Anne agreed with Kira. She looked back at the ugly farmhouse. She gulped at the building. Every time she looked at it, it seemed to get worse. She noticed that none of the lights in the windows seemed to be on, even with the quickly darkening sky. What if the owners weren't home? Anne's mood quickly dropped. They were going to have to wait around for the owners to come back. Who knows how long they might take. They might even get trapped outside in the middle of the night!

Anne brushed the thoughts of her head. She was scaring herself. The farmhouse wasn't [i]that[/i] scary! They were just going to walk up to the front door and knock. Simple. Anne took a deep breath and started forward.
