For a few things Angelo is a capable captain is because he is his personality as a trusting person that people can believe in. No matter the situation Angelo will have a smile on his face and keep going regardless of how hopeless it may seem. Angelo is able to go forward with a plan and work his magic by being  charming to his enemies. Angelo is a gunslinger which also means that he will keep his crew covered in the thick of battle and if he runs out of bullets he will just charge at them and fight them hand to hand, he will never give up or surrender. Angelo can also be helpful to his crewmen while not being able to come up with solutions to their personal problems Angelo has no problems being a sympathetic person for them to talk to. Angelo also hopes to become king of not only pirates but when he gets the bel he hopes to control his own kingdom and be a safe haven for all pirates.
