No, our autocannons would be rather effective, along with the rest of our weapons systems. MAS's are pretty much the reason why the Coalition is currently thwaping UEE ass all across the galaxy. They are superior to aerospace fighters, as well as conventional tanks in almost every aspect, sans raw speed when put up against fighters. Granted, you still don't want to get shot by a tank's main cannon.
