Cassie smiled as Serix layed next to him and she laughed softly, kissing him back when he gave her that quick kiss, "Win me over? If I remember correctly, I believe it was me with my unusual trust and tolerance that won you over, Mr. Why Are You Being So Nice." She teased, thinking back to how her kindness had confused her so much when she had first started to get to know him. She moved closer to him and cuddled up against his side, smiling softly, "But you do have kind of a charm over you. You would have to in order to win me over. So, sure, you could probably use that to win people over." She sighed quietly, "But I am glad that they are starting to tolerate you. Even if it is just a little bit. Who knows, maybe in a week or two we can actually walk around this place without worry of one of us getting hurt by some of the others here." She said wishfully. Yawning slightly, she rested her head against the front of his shoulder, hugging herself close to him, "Let's just keep doing our best to make them see 'more to you than just you being Lunairan. Shouldn't be too hard though. After all, you are a really amazing man, Serix." With that, she stayed curled up against him there, letting her mind drift to all that had happened today. It was really great to see that he was starting to fit in, and even seemed to have some friends. But, the thought of those that hadn't accepted him yet still worried her. Would they ever accept him? Or would he be forever hated by those few people? She supposed only time could really tell for that. Giving another soft sigh, she closed her eyes, slowly drifting off there as she layed against Serix. ... The next morning, Cassie was once again the first to wake up, but this time, she didn't want to get up. She was tired from the night before and all the work they had been doing the past two days that they weren't used to. She was going to lay there as long as she could, whether it was Serix going to wake her up or some of the others in the colony coming there to wake them up. Smiling softly, she snuggled closer to her husband, enjoying how comfortable she was for the time being while she could before they really would have to get up to start the day.
