I'll agree on the CQC esper point, though. But those tend to be 1-2 anyway, since the Level Threes [i]should[/i] be more versatile than that.

In Akira's case, he is very versatile, but still, larger constucts take more blood, which is why it'd ake more sense for him to invest some more time then other Espers in martial art's training. Not saying he's amazing at it, as he does focus on his powers mostly, but just enough so that he can use it effectively in a fight.
