Rikku awoke by a lake. "Nnhh, my head. ' she said standing up, studying her surroundings. "Yuna where are we?" She asked thinking her friends were with her. Rikku then realized no one was there besides her. "Huh? Yuna!?" She called out. "Paine!?". After hearing no response, Rikku spotted a nearby town, thus she made her way towards it, hoping to find someone to help her.
