Tsubasa can only use his Friction Manipulation when he himself is in a position to move normally. The key thing behind his power is that he [b]needs[/b] room to move, as listed in his Esper power. If he does not have that much room to move around in, then he would be unable to use Friction Manipulation. That's also why cramped places in general are bad for him.

Good point, though. I may try adding examples as to when Tsubasa can use his Friction Manipulation.
