A servant came and cleared the dishes away. Aery giggled at Celaena's reaction. The next course, roast beef, came out, and Aery indicated she only wanted a tiny piece. The server raised an eyebrow but did as she was bid.
Ame nodded. "I've always wanted to start learning fae magic, but I can't very well ask Rowan to teach me about it since he's been so busy... "teaching"... Aery."
Aery choked on her roast beef, since Ame pushed that thought into her head as well as said it out loud. She took a sip of sparkling fruit juice to calm herself. (she only drank fruit juice or water, never anything alcoholic.) "Rowan's been gone for the last month. He's not been "Teaching" me, Ame."
