The Builder raised his arms slightly and the storage device slowly floated upward. Lacking the means to interface with the device readily, he let one of his escorts come up, and keep it in his shadowy hands. "Thank you fairly for this. Please do know, that we will be disassembling this device, and will not be able to return it to you, I apologize in advance. Now without further ado: Hardlight."

The Builder again, put both his hands forward and the white-blue light returned, inching larger every few seconds. "Hardlight is merely light but with enough energy-density to become solid." Now a sphere, once again, the Seighis with the empty hand hovered forward and shaped the light. First the sphere bent into a cylindrical shape, then smaller panels manifested near it and started to attach onto the shape. Now a number of screws dug into it and secured the panels.

"This is an engine that will enable you to harness hardlight, but to a small degree, such as creating tools and weapons fit for only hands." The Hardlight engine remained translucent and blue-white in color. Though the details could be made out. "Do with it as your people wish. You may need to disassemble it and study it to be able to efficiently produce it." The hardlight-engine floated toward the governor slowly. "Thank you much for this diplomatic engagement, governor, I am sure your knowledge would be invaluable to us." He paused. Then he floated over to beside the table and extended his right limb forward. "Do you shake?" There was a bit of laugh in his voice.
