[b]Jared Landry, 17, New Guy[/b][indent]New to Buchanan High, he moved during last summer from somewhere around Boston. Good grades, due to Catholic High School, but a dude that definitely keeps to himself, except for hanging out with Carl Littlejohn. While there was some interest in him when he arrived at school, because he was different and not hard on the eyes, the interest dried up as he sort of seemed to disappear into the humdrum of daily school life. He got a part time job at the Cane Corso Grill, which eats up a good bit of his time. The rumor has it he's a bit of a mama's boy, but that could be said of a lot of guys who were raised by their mothers alone. While he's here in Cali, he still hasn't come out of his east coast shell yet.[/indent]

[b]Other Information[/b][indent]- Only son of a single mother, Moira Rose McGuire, who graduated from Northeastern University's doctorate program in Psychology, with am emphasis on criminal psychology, and was recently offered a faculty position at Fresno State, a step up from her adjunct faculty position. He and his mother live in an apartment, though it's getting tense, because she's dating and he's got issues with that.
- Not much money; mother had to finance college, work and raise a kid at the same time, with a little help from Grandma Patricia.
- Attended Malden Catholic High School, Malden Massachusetts.
- Hangs out primarily with one Carl Littlejohn Jr., who was a Bears baseball catcher before a falling out with the coach.
- Still follows Boston sports. Of course he does.
- Father is not a huge factor in his life, though the dude is back in Massachusetts and makes a living doing roads.
- Curently working a part-time job as a server at the Cane Corso Grill, where Carl washes dishes. However, both of them are quitting soon.
- Doesn't own a car, gets around on a bike.
- Big reader; enjoys a variety of literature.
