The book also list several hundred family members next to the names list the color of the fur and common color for the family is gray. The interesting thig is on a handful of names it says white for the fur. Further in the book the white fur signifies royal blood it skips generations but only the royal family has it. Also no other werewolves have been seen with the white fur and since werewolves live a long time it could be followed back to one werewolf.
