Robert was awoken by a quick jab to his rib by Greyson. "Whu- what is it? Huh?" he said as he stood up from the couch. Robert looked back down at the couch in confusion. "When did we get a couch?" he said at an inaudible whisper. He looked back up to find everyone in the room staring at him. Robert recognized the five faces surrounding him. Greyson, Daniel, Ineko, Abel, and Kuhaku seemed very impatient. "Wait, what are Ineko, Abel, and Shiro doing here? he said at another inaudible whisper. "And where's Priscilla?" This question he said a bit louder than the last few, causing Greyson, who sat closest to Robert, to respond. "Priscilla? Who the hell's Priscilla?" Greyson asked, confused. "Who's Pri- Never mind. Ignore me," Robert responded back. "Um, what's going on?" Abel let out an irritated sigh. "You're supposed to be going over the plan." "Oh, right. Yes, the plan," he responded as he reached for a nearby cup of water. As he held the cup up to his lips, he asked, "What plan?" "Wow, those beers must have really messed you up, Rob," Daniel remarked. Robert suddenly spit out the liquid he had been originally drinking and coughed at the small amount that had still gone down. Beers? He was underage. Why had he been drinking beer? And why does this water taste so funny? "You okay, Robert?" Ineko asked, not with a tone of concern but with a tone of confusion. "Yeah, I'm fine. What's up with this water?" "Water? That's not water dumbass, it's vodka," Daniel said. Robert looked confused. What was going on? What's this plan? Why's he drinking? What in the World was going on?! "Why don't I go over the plan instead, Rob?" Kuhaku said, stepping forward. "Yeah, that's probably best," Robert replied sitting back down. "Alright. Step one, recon, is already complete. The National Bank of Remnant has only got two security guards at the time we'll be hitting it, so all we need to worry about is the police response. Step two, preparation, also done. Thanks to Rob here, we have our chopper, two cars, and speedboat all in position as well as that high powered rifle that I needed and the LMGs that Abel and Daniel needed. Now here's what's gonna happen. Team 1 is Ineko and me. Ineko, you'll be flying the chopper that me and my handy-dandy sniper rifle will be sitting in, sniping anyone in sight. Team 2 is Daniel and Abel. You'll be in the parking lot across the street where the cars are at, doing the same as me, only with those Light Machine Guns. All of this killing and maiming, is for Robert and Greyson, Team 3, to get in, grab the money, and get to the cars. Team 2 takes one, and Team 3 will take the other. All three of our teams will meet up at the speedboat where Teams 2 and 3, will take the speedboat. And after all of this, we all ride off into the sunset with all the money we can carry. Any questions?" Kuhaku presented to the group, pointing out each location as he said. Robert just watched, stunned and flabbergasted about what they were doing. They were about to pull off some heist. What was going on? Kuhaku smiled at the silent answer to his question. "Good. Let's go then." A few minutes later, and Robert found himself driving one of the two cars to the bank. On the radio, some rap song about drugs and women's asses played at an obnoxiously loud volume. Greyson, sitting in the passenger seat, moved his head forward and backward to the beat. Robert on the other hand, listened to the song with a furrowed brow, wondering how anybody could find the song at all appealing. Robert momentarily lifted his right hand from the wheel to quickly change the radio station to something he found more enjoyable, and a classic rock song began to play. "What the fuck is this shit?" Greyson asked. "I-it's Kash-" Robert began to reply. "That was rhetorical, you idiot," Greyson interrupted, pressing a button on the radio to change it back to the previous station. One hour later, Robert was standing outside of the bank with Greyson. Just like the other teams, Team 3 was wearing ski masks and gloves to hide their identities. Robert couldn't help but think of just how crazy all of this was. And how was he just going along with all of this? This could lead to the murder of who-knows-how-many people. The two bank robbers approached the doors and Greyson gave the signal for the heist to begin. Immediately after, Greyson kicked down the doors and lunged at the nearest guard. Robert's guard still had his back to him so Robert tried to punch the guard in the back of the head like he often saw in movies, hoping that the attack would instantly knock him unconscious. Instead, the guard stumbled forward and turned around, weapon quickly rising in the direction Robert was standing. Robert lunged at his guard, tackling him to the ground, and tried to choke the guard until he was unconscious. Greyson had different plans though, walking just close enough to be sure to not hit Robert, and shot the guard point blank, spraying blood all over Robert's face. "Come on, we don't have time for this," Greyson yelled over the innocent people screaming in the bank. Robert couldn't hear Greyson though, as he ears were still ringing from the gun firing so close to his head. Still, Robert got the understood what was being gestured and followed Greyson to the partially opened vault. After emptying as much of the money as possible into the bags they had brought, Team 3 ran back outside to find the streets in complete chaos. Several bullet riddled police officers and cars littered the streets. Only across the street was Team 2, defending the alleyway that they would need to get through to get to the cars. Up above was the ever-watchful Kuhaku, raining extremely accurate shots of death at the officers below. "There they are!" Abel shouted to Daniel, gesturing toward Robert and Greyson. "Protect the score!" Daniel shouted back, sending a hail of bullets to a group of cops hiding behind a wrecked SWAT car. [Sad music just to set the scene for what comes next.] Team 3 ran to Team 2's position as they were provided covering fire. As soon as they were with Team 2, Team 3 continued to follow the alley to the lot where their cars were kept. Team 2 stayed put, planning to follow after Team 3 after they had made sure that no cops would catch up to them before making it to their vehicles. Another SWAT vehicle slid to a stop only a few feet away from Daniel and Abel's position, though. The noise from the gunfire and sirens caused Daniel to be unable to notice the vehicle and Kuhaku was too busy dealing with a police chopper to notice it as well. The only one who could intervene was Abel. He squatted behind a metal dumpster that was providing him cover from this new threat, but Daniel was right out in the open for them. Abel ran out of cover so that he could get a clear shot at the cops taking aim at his partner. Abel's Ampere let loose a lightning bolt towards them, then quickly turned to get back in cover. It was too late though, and when he had gotten within only a couple inches away from safety, a barrage of bullets struck him from behind. As the pain quickly traveled through Abel's body, the only thing he could say was "Aww," before he fell to the ground with a pool of his own blood beginning to surround him. Greyson heard Abel's final word and shouted, "Fuck! We lost Abel!" A useless message as everyone either heard or saw him die. "Abel! Noooooo!" Daniel screamed, now spraying bullets indiscriminately. "Not Abel." Kuhaku said, the shock of hearing his friend die keeping him from saying anything else. "You bastards!" Daniel screamed, his body now surrounded in flame thanks to his semblance. His emotions now clouding his judgment, he ran out of cover, continuing to mow down cops left and right, and began to backpedal down the alley toward the parking lot where the cars sat waiting. His entire body now completely out in the open, several cops cut Daniel down where he stood. He let out a final "Augh!" before his vision blurred and the darkened. Daniel had now joined Abel. [You can turn the music off and wipe away that tear now.] "We have to go now!" Robert shouted as cops began to descend upon him and Greyson. He slammed his foot onto the accelerator and the car burst through the chain-link fence. "Alright. We'll meet you at the rendezvous," Ineko said, making a sharp turn away from the chaos. Several squad cars tried to follow but were soon lost as Ineko flew over buildings. Any choppers that tried to follow were quickly dispatched by Kuhaku as well. Back on the ground, Robert was weaving in and out of traffic, trying to avoid the heat that was on him and Greyson. After several extremely risky moves that caused the incoming cops to smash into head-on traffic, Team 3 finally got away from their pursuers. A few minutes later, Team 3 pulled up to the beach where the speedboat sat, swimming distance away. Team 1 in the chopper hovered above, watching them pull up. Only the sound of heavy breathing could be heard on the teams' radios as Robert and Greyson swam to the boat. "Alright, we're aboard," Greyson announced. Ineko began to reply, "Cool, we'll descend now so we divide our cuts and g-" He was suddenly cut off as the chopper he and Kuhaku were in exploded and quickly plummeted to Earth as a ball of flames. Neither Robert or Greyson could speak as they watched in horror as their friends charred remains fell from the sky. Greyson was the first to snap out of it. "You traitor!" he shouted as he pulled up his gun towards Robert. A sudden bullet whizzed past Robert's head though and struck Greyson's. Greyson stood for a few seconds before falling off the boat and into the water. Robert turned in the direction that the shot had come from and saw a pink figure in the distance, waving to him. A female voice could now be heard over the radio, "Whoa that was close. Wait right there, I'll be right over." Priscilla dove off the rocks she had been standing on and hit the water. She then quickly swam over to the boat that Robert, still confused and shocked at the days events, let alone the last minutes, stood upon. She climbed aboard and hugged him. "It's great to see you again," she said before letting go. "So where to, Robbie. We got all this money just for the two of us, plenty enough to do whatever we want." Robert continued standing, unmoving and confused. All he could do was look at Priscilla before finally shouting, "What?!" Robert suddenly awoke from his strange dream and looked around his team's dorm. His bed alone was covered in a sheet of candy wrappers. "That's the last time I'm having that much candy right before bed. Wow was that strange," he said before falling back asleep.
