Cassie was so comfortable laying there. That was, until Quincy strolled in and told them it was time to get up. She groaned as well at the rude interruption of their quiet time, curling up against Serix a little more as her husband talked to his new friend. Soon Quincy had left, leaving them alone for at least a little while longer. Yawning, she blinked open her eyes and looked up at Serix as he sat up, "Yeah...I guess we should." Still, she found herself curling up for another moment, "Its so comfy. I might come back during break and take a nap." Sighing she moved to sit up as well and Serix helped her get up as she stretched. Smiling, she hugged him a moment and kissed his lips, thinking a moment as she looked up at him, "You know, I think you're actually starting to kind of fit in here Serix. I hope things keep going the way they are. Who knows, maybe soon you'll be just like any other person here. An honorary human. " She joked slightly, nuzzling her forehead against his before she took his hand and started to head out of their bedroom together toward the dining hall, hoping the others hadn't eaten all the food by then. The day went by once again fairly normal. It was getting easier to work the farm she noticed. They were starting to fall into the rhythm of things and getting work done much faster than they had the past two days. Lunch was really good as well. They had some blueberries with that meal and she happy ate them, telling Serix what they were and letting him try some as well. She also had a good time talking to both Emily and Sarah, as well as including the silent Tori when she could. She was coming to think of herself and the three women as friends, which was nice for her. It made her feel kind of normal in a way. After lunch, it was right back to work. More planting and harvesting as always. That went on for a few hours and then, when they were let off, Cassie went to their room to take a nap as she had mentioned to him that morning. It was a nice nap that left her feeling refreshed when it came time for the two of them to wake up and head back to the dining hall for dinner. She smiled at him, holding his hand in hers as they walked, making their way tot he dining hall.
