Ueno didn't have much of an idea about what she was babbling on about. He never had to memorize any codes or equations for him to use his flames, it was all something he could do naturally and on a whim. So this Gemstone couldn't exactly talk back about how he was going to kick her ass in a certain way, or even try too. However, before he could even try to speak he remembered he himself wasn't able to fight full force either. [i]'Damnit, you aren't going to be the only one holding back you know '[/i]. To not have his suit in a situation like this was unforgivable. At least he had brought his gloves though! So he was not holding back nearly as much as she was, but would that make enough of a difference to give him a chance at victory? Probably not. He wanted to talk trash but he couldn't think of anything to say in return, so he just looked pissed and slightly embarrassed. 


As soon as the shards start to fly at him, Ueno uses his flames to jump into the air. He wasn't fast enough though, and a few of them pierce his arms and chest through his shirt. But nothing was able to get through his pants or boots. Once in the air above Ria he propels his feet back, turning his body around. Once his head and arms are the ones facing the ground, he uses his torch skill as he falls towards her. An extremely intense flame projects itself up to three feet in front of him as he falls. However the heat could burn even if you weren't close to it, the unprotected skin over the rest of Ueno's arms were starting to burn slightly before he was even close to Ria.
