Vera was confident in her assault as Glass slid back onto to attempt to fly right back into the fray. [i]'so he likes to be up close?'[/i], though the eye flash was a unexpected move and blinded her for a few moments she did raise her leg in order to blick the kick, even if the force did send her across the ground at least her midsection was still protected.
